
Historically, Papua has no religions. They have unique faith in their ancestor as any traditional tribe around the world. By the colonialism exist, the missionaries tried to change their life into a decent modern human being. An increase in knowledge and well-being brought the best of the native Papua at that moment. However, at present, there is religious pressure from Islam newcomers from other islands in Indonesia. Are they pose a threat to native religion?
